CIR is a non-profit multi-media organization, focusing on investigative reporting. It has changed its name to Reveal – a website, and public radio program, podcast and social media platform, where they publish their multiplatform work.

As Operations Manager:

  • Helped design and implement the growth from an 8 person office to an 80 person organization in 5 years, and maintained company operations through the rapid growth that led to company winning MacArthur Genius Award in 2012.
  • Managed facilities and maintained operations of CIR headquarters and satellite offices as the organization sustained exponential growth.
  • Interacted and coordinated daily with IT and supply vendors, building contractors, customers, and staff in order to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, and provided a comfortable and focused workspace.
  • Maintained development database in Salesforce, before full-time development staff were hired, in order to support administrative leadership staff.

As Studio and Production Manager:

  • Collaborated in design and build of CIR’s recording and editing facilities for production of radio, television and documentary film content.
  • Recorded and edited audio at CIR Studio for documentary films, radio, and television broadcasts to ensure original content production.
  • Installed and maintained studio facilities and equipment. Managed studio rentals, ISDN transmissions and recordings, and reservation calendar.

  • Oversaw the growth and development of Performing Arts Department, starting the instrumental music program from scratch.
  • Created curriculum and directly taught Concert Band, Beginning and Intermediate Concert Choir, Jazz/Soul Ensemble, Pep Band, Piano Classes, and 9th Grade Algebra.
